Juan Antonio Pérez-Foncea (San Sebastian, Spain 1965) currently combines his activities as an author with his legal practice.

As a lawyer specialising in European and International Law (Universities of Louvain and Liège), he has lived in several countries in Europe.

His stories reflect his three great passions: nature, history and philology, the elements which form the basis of each of his works.

When he began to write the story of Ivan and Errion-Thal, his first ideas acquired a life of their own, and soon he found himself being pulled along by a fascinating tale. He hardly imagined that his stories were soon to attract thousands of readers on both sides of the Atlantic.

The first of the books in the saga, The Forest of the Taurocs, has just been translated into English.

However, the strong personality of a normal boy—Ivan of Aldenuri—who will gradually discover the nature of his mission, will rebel against the forces of evil. Many are the difficulties which he must face in order to defeat the shadows of the forest.

The Heritage of Bèrehor

New threats emerge, bringing forth new difficulties. A new mission, unknown lands, invasions which may have profound effects for the Aldenoric world… A brave fight on the battle field and in the hearts of men, the strength of friendship and the heroism of a few will lead to a purely epic outcome, surprising the reader on several levels ...
